well-designed ensuite, warm swimming pool, convenient outdoor seating
Slatted blinds for light control would enhance privacy!!! A bit more heating control in rooms would be nice, especially when the extractor fan is noisy!!! Getting a bedside clock would be a simple addition to improve comfort!!!

We had an awesome time with friends! The place is perfectly located for walking into the gorge and exploring the area. The owners really take pride in offering a great experience, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I highly recommend trying the full English or salmon toast. Perfect for a group getaway!
The only hiccup was when we needed a taxi one evening and couldn’t get through to any of the numbers provided. Thankfully, the owner was really helpful, but it was a bit inconvenient.

Loved my stay here! The room was beautiful, and I really appreciated the Nespresso machine and the handy fridge with bottled water. While the pool and gardens looked inviting, I wish check-in could be a bit earlier to make the most of my time! 😊

i absolutely loved my stay at gordons bed & breakfast. the double room was huge and super comfy, especially the bed and pillows, which is rare! breakfast every morning was amazin, fresh and tasty. also wanna give a shoutout to rory, he was super helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. the location is perfect for exploring cheddar gorge too!
the only downsides were that the wifi was a bit spotty in our room and the hot water was sometimes kinda unreliable. other than that, everything was great!

Perfect getaway for family
The place was super clean and had a nice mix of modern and traditional vibes. Breakfast was made fresh and sooo good! The owners were super friendly and great with our little one. Only bummer was the pool was a bit chilly for my taste, but the garden made up for it.

Oh, the food scene around Gordons is a feast for the senses! The full English breakfast had me doing a happy dance, and don’t even get me started on the Thai place just a stone's throw away—absolute banger! Plus, with Rory as your host, you’re guaranteed the warmest welcome and top-notch advice on local eateries.
Now, it’s not all sunshine. the pub across the road can get a bit rowdy at night with the odd clutz revving their engine. But honestly, the peaceful vibes inside more than make up for it!

Had a great time staying with friends. The location is perfect for walking into the gorge. Rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was top-notch. The hosts really care about making sure you have a good time, and they provided helpful info on where to eat. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun getaway with friends.
Just a heads-up, if you're planning to stay on a Sunday, food options may be limited if you want to go out later. We experienced this when looking for dinner after a day out.
